Personal Tow Rope
$0.00
Build your own personal tow rope to haul your kids up sledding hills!
DISCLAIMER: This project features requires high power electronics and strong pulling forces that could result in bodily harm if you do not assemble this correctly. By downloading these files, you assume all liability for the performance of the personal tow rope, or any damages that result from a mechanical or electrical failure.
In this download, you'll get:
- STEP file for the entire personal tow rope assembly
- STL file for the entire personal tow rope assembly
- Individual STL part files
Known issues with this design:
- Will need to be upgraded with larger motor/battery or gearing to be a proper hauler for adults - I was able to get some good runs for the project video, but it definitely struggled on steeper slopes
- The rope will grind away at the entrance point after several times taking it out - recommend designing an idler wheel at the entrance to avoid this
